Mission and Vision

The mission of LAPIS is to bridge the gap between theoretical research and industrial application by developing innovative, scalable, and sustainable technological solutions. The laboratory actively collaborates with industry partners, research institutions, and international consortia to transfer knowledge and foster technological advancement.

LAPIS aims to contribute to the digital transformation of industry by advancing intelligent systems that are not only efficient and robust but also human-aware, networked, and context-aware within smart environments.

Education and Impact

In addition to research, LAPIS plays a key role in higher education, particularly through its central role in the Cybernetics and Bioinspired Systems module. The laboratory supports undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies in robotics, artificial intelligence, IoT, and advanced manufacturing.

Students are actively involved in research projects, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies such as connected systems, intelligent environments, and advanced robotic platforms.
